Not a clear day

The day begins before the view opens. A window carries droplets. A path disappears around a corner. There is no spectacular arrival, only the slow adjustment of looking at what is there.

Weather can give a visual story its rhythm. Wide landscapes and close textures can hold the same mood without repeating the same picture.

After the pause

When the light changes, it does not undo the waiting. It gives the same day another view. The earlier frames still belong: the closed horizon, the wet detail, the shelter. They are part of how the open view was found.
