A walk in six frames
The walk begins with water. From a distance, the city seems to arrange itself around the view. Closer in, it becomes a succession of details: a waiting place, a crossing, a turn into a street.
One frame holds the shape of the shoreline. Another holds something small enough to have been missed. Moving between them is another way of remembering a walk.
Room around the image
The city carries on beyond the edges of each frame. A photograph leaves most of the walk outside it: the sound, the waiting, the decision to turn. A few words can leave room for those things without explaining everything away.

Places change, and so do we. Practical details in a published story will include a date and Eunice's own experience.
